Manage your expectations. The structure is only impressive when you think about its Roman origins and the fact that it's still standing. Otherwise, it's just a wall. However, it's enjoyable to drive or walk around and see the remnants of this defensive structure, including the foundations of the guard towers. The fortress was closed due to low season.

Extremely fascinating and steeped in history. Archaeologists are currently excavating the site, and we had the opportunity to speak with some of them and view some of their discoveries.

An intriguing piece of English history that is definitely worth exploring, even if just for a leisurely walk. The parking lot requires payment, but the fee is reasonable. Be cautious of the sheep in the nearby field if you're bringing pets or young children.

The staff is delightful, and while the wall is intriguing, it's clear that it has seen better days. The gift shop offers a wealth of information about the history, and you can stroll along the wall to observe where the gate house once stood. While there is an entrance fee to see the fort, from the outside it doesn't appear like much remains. The gift shop is also worth a visit.

Fantastic place to visit, although the entrance fee on top of parking can make it quite pricey. The cafe is exceptional and offers delicious food and beverages. Dog-friendly with very accommodating staff. I will certainly come back.

Impressive. As someone from Cumbria, I have always been fascinated by history, but sometimes we overlook the wonders of the wall. To those who live nearby and may be accustomed to its presence, I encourage you to take a moment and walk a short distance - it truly is magnificent.
